Part of a post-medieval (1500-1700) lead-alloy seal cloth consisting of disc one. Part of the squashed rivet remains on the reverse of disc one, and a small part of the connecting strip on one edge. The seal disc is circular, and the edges have been bent out of shape, though the disc is complete. Disc two is missing. The seal depicts a swan standing left (from the viewer's perspective) in low relief, with the letters MES on the left and *V on the right.

A worn and damaged cast lead possible cloth seal of late medieval or early post-medieval date (c. 1485-c. 1700 AD). On the upper surface the object is broadly circular with some squared-off cuts. Initials are moulded in low relief at its centre: 'HR', where the 'H' is ligated with the 'R'; above is what appears to be a crown. On the other side it is too worn to discern what the decoration is, if any; this side has been cut into a sub-square shape. The object now remains light grey in colour due to the corrosion process. It has been bent in profile.
It is possible that the HR refers…

Lead two-part cloth seal comprising two discs, one much larger than the other. The two discs would have been connected by a shank, which is now missing. The larger disc (D. 31.9mm) bears moulded decoration in the form of a trapezoidal motif with raised edges, with a raised ridge joining each of the diagonally opposite corners, forming an X-shape in the centre. The second, smaller disc (D. 22.3mm) also bears moulded decoration. In the centre there is a sub-rectangular motif with raised edges with a raised ridge radiating from approximately each corner to the edge of the disc.

c. 17th-18th Century AD. Lead cloth seal. Two discs are connected by a rectangular sectioned shank. As there appears to be no rivet it is likely that these are the inner discs of a four part alnage. One disc has moulded decoration consisting of the letters KO with a plain raised linear border. The other disc has moulded decoration consisting of a standing figure wearing some sort of hat or cap, and holding something in the left hand, possibly a fork. The right hand appears to be on the right hip, and the figure appears to be standing among plants. There is a plain raised linear border.

Incomplete, one disc survives. Stamp not clear but may be a privy mark composed of a central anchor-like symbol, with an initial either side, possibly an elaborate 'T' and a 'f'. The style of lettering might suggest a late Medieval date. No exact parallels have been found.
