A complete lead Cloth Seal of Post-Medieval to Modern date (AD 1700-1950). The seal is composed of two lead discs connected by two tabs, one each side. There is a slot in one edge and a bifurcated slot in the opposite edge, to function as a drawstring bag closure. It is broadly oval in plan. On one side there are some raised letters reading NE/(\ with the remainder illegible.   Length: 18.66mm, Width: 18.05mm, Thickness: 5.74mm, Weight: 7.6g The metal is dark cream/light brown with a predominantly smooth patina.

A two part lead cloth seal of the Norwich Weavers Company, circa late 17th century. The outer face has text across four lines reading WOR/STED / REFOR/MED: the reverse is largely unclear but has a numeral 2, part of a number which indicates the quantity of yards the piece contained (see Egan, (1987), p173 and BH-1A11D7).

A Post Medieval Russian flax bale seal . The lead seal is a thick disc with two horizontal perforations running through the centre from edge to edge to accommodate a cord or wire which would have been used to attach the seal to a bale of flax. The design is mostly obscured but includes: TA G П [...] surrounding 1810 / oF[...] The reverse is flat and plain.

An incomplete Post Medieval lead cloth seal dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The cloth seal consists of the remains of two circular discs joined together by a connecting strip, which is now lost, and a rivet that was pushed through the hole in one disc from the other disc and stamped flat. An incomplete lead alloy Cloth Seal of late Medieval to Post-Medieval date (AD 1525 - 1724). The object is one disc from a two or four disc set. It is sub-circular in plan and flat in section. One side is stamped with a crown with 2 above within a beaded boarder. Crowns are a common motif on cloth seal of the Post-Medieval period. Length: 14.99mm, Width: 13.70mm, Thickness: 1.34mm, Weight: 1.4g The metal is cream in colour with a smooth patina.

Post Medieval lead sack seal, c.AD 1500-1700. This is an incomplete circular seal with two circular discs pressed together and the base of a folded attachment loop. The obverse has a pineapple with a plume on top in relief. The reverse has a central circular depression, over which is an A in relief with an annulet above, below, and to each side. The object is composed of two sub-circular discs which would have been connected by a short rectangular tab, now missing, with the two discs folded to meet. One face of the object has a moulded letter A, for the city of Augsburg. The second face has an unclear moulded linear motif. Diameter: 20.05mm, Thickness: 4.26mm, Weight: 10.0g The metal is grey in colour with a predominantly smooth patina.
