Post Medieval cloth seal; very thin, circular, lead seal with torn section at the top where the back half has broken away. Seal has a raised oval section with the initials "I B" and a delicate twisted knot design between and around the letters. The reverse has some letters scratched rather crudely into its surface. The inscription is not clear, but may read 'et 9' above a horizontal line to the right of the seal. The style of lettering and design would seem to date this to the late 16th or 17th century. Diameter 21.36mm, thickness 2.96mm, weight 4.32g

Probably a Medieval - Post Medieval lead alloy fragment of a cloth seal, dating late 14th - 19th century. This is probably part of a four part cloth seal with two discs connected by a short rectangular tab. One of the discs has the remains of an illegible inscription or pattern. There are either radiating lines forming a border around the edge of the disc or it is an inscription. The central pattern is illegible. The other surviving disc is much smaller with the remains of a central perforation; it is incomplete. Dimensions: length: 28.36mm; thickness: 1.64mm; diameter: 17.56mm;…

One complete inner lead disc of a post-medieval four part cloth seal. These seals were cast as plain and then later stamped with the chosen design. This disc is plain on the reverse whilst the front carries the 'Charles II type head' with the inscription OF ENG LAND around the portrait, the border is decorated with a circle of beading. This particular seal probably dates to the reign of James II (1685-1688). This disc has been pierced directly above the portrait and was possibly used as a pendant or label after its initial use as a seal.

A lead cloth seal of 18th century AD date. The presence of a bust of queen Anne provides a terminus post quem for this seal; however, such seals were often produced and used after the reign of the depicted monarch. The disc consists of two sub-circular seals which are joined at both ends by folded connecting strips. One side bears the relief design of the left-facing head of queen Anne. The inscription 'MAG BRI-T ANN[E]' runs clockwise around the head. On the other disc is a left-facing lion gardant within a beaded border. The number '1' is stamped in the bottom left hand corner and…

The cloth seal is sub-circular in plan and flat in section, with a damaged and flattened suspension loop at the top.
