An incomplete four disc cloth seal comprising the inner two disc probably dating between c.AD 1500-1700. The discs have a complete connecting strip on one side which is bent in half to place them back to back. There is a scar from the loss of the connecting strip on the opposite edge of both discs which would have led to another two disks joining the whole seal by a rivet. Both discs are very abraded and bent such that it is not possible to confidently date the design on their surface although they they may have faint traces of writing. A pair of post-medieval lead-alloy cloth seals of two-disc types issued by Weres & Co. of Wellington, Somerset. For each, two discs are connected by a rivet that appears to survive, squashed and stamped and the centre. A third discoidal piece is retained between the discs. The outer surface bears a central inscription WERE'S / &. : Co : in two lines, below which a scallop shell, below which the inscription WELLINGTON, which follows the curve of the seal, all within a beaded border. This strip is rectangular if unfolded, and sub-rectangular in profile. A lead post medieval cloth or bag seal dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1800. The seal consists of two discs pressed together, both of which exhibit significant losses to their edges. The larger of the two discs exhibits the remains of a tab projecting from one side. There is no trace of a design on the outer face of this disc. The smaller disc exhibits traces of an indistinct design, possibly a stylised letter H or A, however, it is heavily worn. The seal measures 14.33mm in length, 11.45mm in width, is 4.16mm thick and weighs 3.00g.

The ends of the strip are secured by an integral rivet on one going through a hole in the other and being stamped flat with a crown stamp. Stamped on the strip (prior to bending) is: G' .
