Small lead cloth seal. The object was probably a four-part seal; there are signs of a breakage on the second disc. There are two discs surviving; the first disc has the rivet that would have been fitted into the fourth disc (missing), this would have had a perforation to provide a means for attachment. The obverse of the first disc is not decorated. The second disc, and only other surviving part of this object, has an obverse design of a crown with three possible thistles emerging. Below the crown are three, possibly four letters, possibly reading FSAO. The reverse of this disc…

Lead cloth seal bearing a shield of Leeds. The object is circular in plan, slightly bent, with the remains of a loop on one side. The face of the object shows a fleece suspended on a cord within a shield with a bi-concave top. The outer border of the face has beaded decoration. Lead disc, probably one of the inner discs of a four-part cloth seal. The disc is flat and circular, with two sprues, one either side. One surface is decorated with a crowned bust facing forwards, similar to the busts featured on medieval coins. It is therefore possible that this seal is late medieval in date.

An incomplete, cast lead cloth seal dating to the late medieval to post-medieval period. The seal consists of two circular lead discs which would have been attached to each another, via the now broken sprue. One side has moulded lettering which has been partially worn off but M E [-] O can still be seen. Both sides have raised decoration; one is unclear while the other depicts a crowned fleur-de-lis. The internal faces are undecorated. The lead surface is a light greyish-white colour.

A lead cloth seal of probable medieval to post-medieval date. The seal comprises two discs of lead joined together by a folded strip of lead. One disc is larger than the other and both surfaces are flat. The seal is undecorated on both sides. The larger disc has a large rivet that passes through the smaller disc and is then flattened to hold the two halves together. Due to the lack of any diagnostic features it is not possible to date this object any more closely. The metal is a dark greyish-white colour and is worn. The seal is 26.3mm long, 21.3mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 6.4g.

An incomplete lead cloth seal of medieval date. The seal is of the two disc type with only one disc complete and the second only partly intact. The surviving disc has been stamped with a small hand or shell devise though some other fainter marks are also present though these can no longer be determined. All that remains of the second disc are two extremely worn oval fragments both bearing signs of having been stamped though the features are again indeterminable. A slight protrusion on the edge of the complete disc may represent the strip which joined the two discs. The metal is a l…

The seal has a disc with a rivet connected by a strip to a second disc with a hole in the centre. The 'rivet disc' is plain and the edges are slightly crumpled. On the flattened rivet, seen through the second disc, an incomplete design has been stamped. The design is the body, neck and head of a goat/ram. The animal has two curved horns on top of its head. The letter 'B' is above the neck, another letter is too incomplete to be legible.
