The seal comprises a broken disc and part of the connecting rivet. The front face depicts the shield of Haarlem depicting a sword, four stars and, above this, a cross patee. The design, in relief, is surrounded by part of the legend [HAE](R)LE(M) [GOET]. The opoosite face features part of the number 20 cast as central motif. An incomplete post medieval lead Dutch cloth seal from the city of Haarlem, dating to the 17th century. The seal is a two-disc type, missing the outer portion of both discs. Disc 1 bears a moulded shield with the city arms: sword erect, four mullets to sides, cross potent in chief. This would probably have originally had a surrounding legend [HAERLEMS GOET] (Goods from Haarlem). Disc 2 has the numerals 19 in the centre referring to the measured length of the piece in Dutch ells.

An incomplete disc from a cast lead-alloy cloth, or alnage, seal dating from the post-medieval period, probably the reign of Queen Anne (1702-1714), dating to 1707-1714. The obverse shows the post 1707 arms of Great Britain, surmounted by a lion passant above the crown and with the arms supported by the lion and the unicorn with rose and thistle beneath them. The arms are encircled with the garter motto: HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE; below the arms is a banner bearing the legend DIEU ET MON DROIT, now truncated. Traces of a gilt finish survive in places. An incomplete lead cloth seal of Augsburg. The surviving fragment consists a single disc of a two or four-part cloth seal, with an integral rivet projecting from the reverse. The edges of two sides of the disc are now folded over. The disc is stamped with a design featuring a large letter A in relief in the centre, with prominent serifs, a flat top and a v-shaped cross-bar. An annulet is placed to the right side the of the A.
