Post Medieval lead cloth searchers seal formed of a rectangular strip of lead folded in half. The ends of the strip are secured by an integral rivet on one going through a hole in the other and being stamped flat with a crown stamp. Stamped on the strip (prior to bending) is: G' . FRANKS, mainly on one face. On the other face, the other way up, is 17- 60 with the 17 and 60 divided by three deeply stamped parallel lines. The discs have a complete connecting strip on one side which is bent in half to place them back to back and the scar from the loss of the connectng strip on the opposite edge which would have led to another two disks joined by a rivet. A Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, probably dating to c. AD 1550-1800. The seal is incomplete, with only the integral rivet and an adjoining section of the disc from which it expands surviving. The surviving section of the disc depicts a design of an eagle or perhaps more likely, a griffin, advancing left, right foot in front with each talon terminating in a pellet. A post medieval lead cloth seal dating to the period c. AD 1660 - 1668. The cloth seal consists of two circular discs pressed back to back and connected by a folded tab. One of the discs exhibits a design of a man's head facing left, probably Charles II or James II surrounded by the inscription "OF ENGLAND", all within a beaded border. The other disc exhibits a design of a lion guardant with the numbers 1 & 2 above, probably representing 1/2' (the duty in pence) within a beaded border. A lead post medieval cloth or bag seal dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1800. The seal consists of two discs pressed together, both of which exhibit significant losses to their edges. The larger of the two discs exhibits the remains of a tab projecting from one side. There is no trace of a design on the outer face of this disc. The smaller disc exhibits traces of an indistinct design, possibly a stylised letter H or A, however, it is heavily worn. The seal measures 14.33mm in length, 11.45mm in width, is 4.16mm thick and weighs 3.00g.

A post medieval two disc lead cloth seal dating to the period c. AD 1500-1625. The seal is formed of two discs pressed together and linked by a folded rectangular tab. One disc exhibits a design of a crowned portcullis within a beaded border and surrounded by a legend, now illegible. This disc measures 19.21mm in diameter. There is a lip intact around a section of the edge and a worn break where part of it has been lost. A fragment of a post medieval lead cloth seal, dating to the period c.AD 1600-1750. The fragment comprises the remains of a single disc. It is irregularly shaped and has worn breaks on three of its edges. A stamped rose is depicted on one side. The design bears similarities to Egan (1994), p.161, nos. 11 and 12, however, too much of the seal is missing to be able to tell if it was surmounted by a crown as in this example. The seal measures 12.65mm in length, 11.18mm in width, 1.57mm in thickness and weighs 0.89g.
