A fragment of a post medieval lead cloth seal, dating to the period c.AD 1600-1750. The fragment comprises the remains of a single disc. It is irregularly shaped and has worn breaks on three of its edges. A stamped rose is depicted on one side. The design bears similarities to Egan (1994), p.161, nos. 11 and 12, however, too much of the seal is missing to be able to tell if it was surmounted by a crown as in this example. The seal measures 12.65mm in length, 11.18mm in width, 1.57mm in thickness and weighs 0.89g.
