A very worn lead alloy discoidal object with circular band, possibly a Medieval or Post Medieval cloth or related seal. The seal itself is discoidal with completely broken and misshapen circumference; it is possible this was originally circular in plan. There seems to be a gap between two symmetrical discs, suggesting perhaps that another element may have passed through this element, such as a chord. a lead two-disc cloth seal of Post-Medieval date. It consists of two discs linked by a twisted connecting strip. One disc is plain, with a diameter of 16.63mm, and the other is 17.48mm in diameter, with a roughly circular lead rivet pushed through the centre. There is a rectangular panel with criss-cross pattern between the connecting strip and the rivet. The cloth seal weighs 7.02g

Post Medieval cloth seal; very thin, circular, lead seal with torn section at the top where the back half has broken away. Seal has a raised oval section with the initials "I B" and a delicate twisted knot design between and around the letters. The reverse has some letters scratched rather crudely into its surface. The inscription is not clear, but may read 'et 9' above a horizontal line to the right of the seal. The style of lettering and design would seem to date this to the late 16th or 17th century. Diameter 21.36mm, thickness 2.96mm, weight 4.32g

An incomplete cloth seal of Post-Medieval, seventeenth century date (AD 1600 - AD 1700). Diameter 27.0mm and 2.6mm thick. Weight 5.06g. This two-disc seal is of a type associated with imports from Haarlem in the Netherlands of a fine linen known in England as 'holland'. The seal has been deliberately cut in half and has a clean smooth break. Disc 1, 27.0mm in diameter. Moulded shield with arms? at centre? Incomplete stamped lead alnage cloth seal of Charles II (1660-1685), consisting of two sub-circular discs joined by a folded connecting strip. The obverse face bears the image in relief of the bust of Charles II facing right. On the reverse is the image of a crowned thistle with the letter 'I' in the left field, but nothing to the right where the duty in pence is normally represented.
