An incomplete lead two disc cloth seal dating from the Post Medieval period, AD 1553 - 1700. It is an example of the County series. The two discs are fastened by a split pin type arrangement and a connecting tab. Only one disc is present,and part of the connecting tab which has been squashed. The design is a portcullis of four by four squares with the letter 'E' above, potentially for the county 'COLCHESTER'. A  lead two-disc cloth seal dating to the Medieval or Post-Medieval period, about AD 1350 - 1700.  The object is circular in plan with a central bend, and consists of two circular discs pressed together with a sub-rectangular tab connecting the two discs. Disc 1.has a large symbol resembling an uppercase  letter B across the centre. Disc 2 has a star or cinquefoil preserved and the rest of the design is illegible. A single disc of a lead-alloy cloth seal of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1660 - 1727. The seal would have originally had two or four alnage type discs joined by an integral central strip. This disc depicts a crowned harp with a number 1/4 to the left indicating the alnage subsidy of 1 farthing for the cloth. The opposite disc would have displayed the head of the monarch. An incomplete lead post-medieval two-part cloth seal. Both parts are sub-circular in shape with damage to their outer edges and the strip that once connected them is now missing. One part has a sub-circular hole through the centre and the other a projection from the centre of the reverse, which has been passed through the hole and hammered flat to fill it. A Post-Medieval Belgian single disc bulla type lead cloth-seal from the city of Tournai dating to the 16th-17th century. Sub-circular and flat, with a vertical piercing. The obverse depicts a fleur-de-lis within a toothed border and an outer inscription of; S•D[E TOVR]NAI•  The reverse depicts a crenellated turret with an arched entrance and a pellet on either side. A single uniface disc from a four disc type lead alnage cloth seal issued during the reign of George I dating to c.1714-24. Circular and flat. The face has a crowned shield bearing the impaled arms of England (three lions passant) and Scotland (a lion rampant). Flanking the shield are the figures 1 - 1/2 that relate to the one and a half pence alnage fees paid. The reverse is plain and the surface displays a light grey colour. Diameter 14.7mm, thickness 0.9mm and weight 1.2g. A similar seal can be seen at: SUR-613C72 and in S Elton (2017) p.174.

An incomplete German lead two-disc type, Augsburg cloth seal dating to c.1500-1650. Circular and flat, one face of the seal depicts a pinecone with a trefoil terminal surrounded by a circle of cinquefoils, all within a toothed outer border. The reverse consists of just the central rivet that bears a letter A with a chevron bar. The pine-cone is the heraldic badge of the city of Augsburg.
