A complete lead-alloy Cloth Seal of Medieval to Post-Medieval date (1350-1800). The object is a two-disc seal. The seal is circular in plan and comprises two equal sized lead discs linked by a recurved rectangular tab. One face has a punched inscription reading I F. The other face has the punched initials O H. Length: 32.91mm, Width: 18.94mm, Thickness: 2.89mm, Weight: 6.6g The metal is cram in colour with a predominantly smooth patina. Similar examples can be seen on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database: SUR-125445, DEV-74F04C and SUR-258314.

A Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal dating from AD 1600-1620. This is one disk from a four-disc cloth seal. A similar seal is illustrated in Elton (2017:303). The obverse has the Arms of the town of Wesel, an ornate shield bearing three weasels courant, central inescutcheon, MEMENTO.MORI around. The reverse is blank and undecorated. A Post Medieval lead alloy Norwich Russel Company Seal dating from AD 1654. The seal is formed of two discs with a connecting strip and integral rivet on one of the discs connecting the two. The rivet is visible on the reverse of the disc in the form of a raised oval. The cloth seal is a Norwich Russel Company seal. The obverse has [N]ORW / [I]CH. / 1654. The reverse has []SBF[] / SNPP / WBE / 1654 in four lines. A complete lead-alloy cloth seal of post-medieval date, probably c. AD 1650-1700. The seal would have been a two-part seal, circular in plan with a short connecting tab between the two discs. Both sides are now very worn, but the lower portion of the obverse (rivet disc) may show a lion statant or passant, facing left. The seal is worn and warped in places, particularly the connecting strip, and its surface has a light grey patina. An incomplete two or four disc lead-alloy cloth seal of post medieval date, c. AD 1603-1714. It consists of a disc with a protruding fragment of the connecting strip. The outer face of the disc has a stamped motif with the royal arms of the House of Stuarts, the other face is undecorated. The seal has a pale cream coloured patina with worn edges. It measures 16.79mm in length, 12.22mm in width, 1.64mm in thickness and weighs 1.03g.

Originally this would have comprised two discs attached together via a lug projecting from the reverse of on and passing through a hole in the centre of the other. An incomplete lead Post Medieval two-part cloth seal. It is a double disc seal, which is folded along a narrow connecting strip. The seal has been squashed.  One disc has a stamped decoration slightly off center of the middle; the decoration consists of a gate comprised of a raised square with nine squares within it. The second disc is undecorated and the rivet can be seen in the centre.
