A probable incomplete lead alloy cloth seal of post-medieval date, c. AD 1600-1750. The object is roughly oval in plan and comprises multiple layers of thin lead folded back onto one another. Two protruding points on the reverse appear to be rivets, indicating this object is most likely a very worn four-part cloth seal. No decoration is now discernable on either the obverse or reverse. Large portions of the lower and outer sections of the seal have broken off from both the obverse and reverse. The metal has a cream-coloured patina.

A complete lead-alloy cloth seal of post-medieval date, probably c. AD 1650-1700. The seal would have been a two-part seal, circular in plan with a short connecting tab between the two discs. Both sides are now very worn, but the lower portion of the obverse (rivet disc) may show a lion statant or passant, facing left. The seal is worn and warped in places, particularly the connecting strip, and its surface has a light grey patina.

Post Medieval lead alloy object – probably either half of a cloth seal or a fragment of the square inner part of a four-part cloth seal, dating to c.AD 1500 - 1800. The back surface is flat and unmarked, the front surface has a raised image, possibly a face wearing a headdress, or more likely in the case of a cloth seal, a bent over tab where the rest of the seal would have been attached and which has b…

Post medieval lead cloth seal. 14mm in length, 12mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 1.91grams.
The seal is circular and formed of two discs now incomplete which would have been joined by a short rectangular strip.
Obverse inscription reads I?-/160-/ C N. This could be a match for the seal of Thomas Lane (TL) 1603 or Joshua Culey (IC) , 1606 Mayors of Norwich.
Reverse image may be of a lion or a portculis?
