One face has the remaining letters […]TED[…]TOR. Possibly the initials or name of a company that issued the seal, however most detail has been lost. An incomplete disc from a cast lead-alloy cloth, or alnage, seal dating from the post-medieval period, probably the reign of Queen Anne (1702-1714), dating to 1707-1714. The obverse shows the post 1707 arms of Great Britain, surmounted by a lion passant above the crown and with the arms supported by the lion and the unicorn with rose and thistle beneath them. An incomplete Medieval to Post Medieval lead-alloy cloth seal dating to circa AD 1500-1700. The surviving piece consists of a single disc (disc 1) of a two our four-part cloth seal. An integral lead alloy rivet projects from the reverse. The front face of the disc is stamped with an uncertain design. The disc is incomplete with a broken edge, precluding identifying the design. Diameter: 17.4mm; Thickness: 3.1mm; Weight: 5.79g.

A uniface copper alloy bag or bale seal dating to the post medieval period, c. 1600-1800. The object is damaged and its original circular shape has been transformed into a crescent topped by a triangle, closely fitted to the decorative design. This depicts in relief a three masted sailing ship under full sail. The ship appears to be a galleon or man o'war style ship, with its carefully depicted multi level decks. Post-medieval lead cloth seal, two-part, circular, diameter 18.5mm. BB / BIWI / WR.. / CF.. // largely illegible [NO]RW[ICH]. The initials are those of the twelve wardens of the Norwich Weavers' Company for one year between 1650 and 1705 (Egan 1994, 46). Examples of this seal, for one of the years for which there is no surviving list, were recorded by Egan (1987, 192, 352 and 358). The non-recorded years were 1660-4, 1678 and 1686.

One disc has what appears to be an apple tree with a picket fence over it and three pellets to is left. It is either a debased or early form of the pinecone surmounted by a border. An incomplete lead cloth seal. One disc of a two disc seal with a central projection on the back. Projecting from the edge of the disc is a strip or tab which would have joined this part to the second, missing disc. There is no decoration on either face of the disc. There are, however, clear impressions of the weave of the fabric to which this was attached.The lack of decoration makes this example difficult to date closely.
