Lead alloy disc, probably the central rivet from a two-part cloth seal or possibly a token. The piece is slightly oval in plan and on the edge there appears to be a suggestion of a thin flat disc, the remains of the back disc, and a thicker squashed rivet but the details are unclear and it could be a mis-cast token. Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, of two disc type, from Augsburg. One disk remains, with the attached, squashed rivet. The other ring shaped disc and the connecting strip are lost. The front has a raised stamped design of a large letter A within a pellet border. On the rivet is stamped part of a pinecone. It has been pierced through the the disc and rivet, near the top of the A on the front with an irregular oval piercing. It is now 17.3mm by 15.1mm, 2.6mm thick and it weighs 3.34 grams.

The rivet, other disc and connecting strip have broken away with patinated breaks. The remaining disc has a raised stamped design of the legend SA BLEW encircling a missing central element, possibly a rose, with a small fluer de lis as the start/ end of the legend, all within a plain line border. Post Medieval lead alloy two disc type cloth seal. Only part of one disc remains with the central rivet which would have attached it to the other disc. About half of the disc, with the connecting strip, has broken away. The complete disc is plain. The end of the rivet shows part of the stamped design of three overlapping lozenge outlines along a central line. It is now 23.7mm by 16.3mm and 3.6mm thick and it weighs 4.00 grams.
This may be a privy mark used by a weaver, dyer or searcher. Without more detail it is hard to date but the general style suggests it may be post medieval.

Without more detail of the design it is hard to date it precisely but it may be post medieval in date given the style of the lettering.

Only one disc now survives with the integral projecting attachment rivet on the back, the edges of the disc are chipped and broken all the way around. The second disc and connecting strip has been lost or broken away and the break is worn. The front has a raised design of a large letter A flanked with annulets, on the squashed end of the rivet at the back is part of a pinecone; the remainder would have been on the back disc. A damaged and incomplete two-part lead-alloy cloth seal, one disc and the connecting rivet intact; part of one disc and the connecting tab have been lost following old damage. The central rivet and front disc were stamped with a 'privy' or 'merchant's' mark. The mark is unclear following the damage but has a central cross bar and numeral 2 to its right, a long vertical with further details at the top, now unclear. On the reverse of the other disc an incised 30.
