Post medieval lead-alloy cloth seal. Complete two part seal consisting of two discs joined by a connecting strip and also the integral rivet from one disc which has gone through the hole in the centre of the other disc and been stamped flat. On the disc with the hole and the rivet are stamped with a crowned portcullis, surrounded by a legend, now unclear. The other face is plain. A Post Medieval two part lead alnage seal. Originally formed of two circular discs joined by a strip of metal (cast as one piece). One disc and its integral central rivet survive. The rivet went through the other piece and was stamped flat. The remainign disc and the stamped part of the rivet both have incomplete inscriptions and designs. Probably the central part of a lead alnage cloth seal. The disc shaped squashed rivet from a two part seal with part of the design on each face. On one face is an inscrition [....]SVS[...] around letters or numbers, possibly RH or BH. On the other are raised lines that form pat of an unclear design. The outerface of the disc is stamped, by the rivet, with a small design of short lines in saltire, probably sceptres, with another item above, possibly a crown, now lost, all within a line border. One face exhibits a design of a crown with a rounded base with the date 1612 below. The cloth seal measures 16.39mm in diameter, is 1.55mm thick and weighs 2.01g.

A lead post medieval cloth or bag seal dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1800. The seal consists of two discs pressed together, both of which exhibit significant losses to their edges. The larger of the two discs exhibits the remains of a tab projecting from one side. There is no trace of a design on the outer face of this disc. The smaller disc exhibits traces of an indistinct design, possibly a stylised letter H or A, however, it is heavily worn. The seal measures 14.33mm in length, 11.45mm in width, is 4.16mm thick and weighs 3.00g.

A fragment of a post medieval lead cloth seal, dating to the period c.AD 1600-1750. The fragment comprises the remains of a single disc. It is irregularly shaped and has worn breaks on three of its edges. A stamped rose is depicted on one side. The design bears similarities to Egan (1994), p.161, nos. 11 and 12, however, too much of the seal is missing to be able to tell if it was surmounted by a crown as in this example. The seal measures 12.65mm in length, 11.18mm in width, 1.57mm in thickness and weighs 0.89g.
