A Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, dating to AD 1550-1700. A two-disc seal with the connecting strip surviving intact. Disc 1 is plain but with the number 33 scratched into its surface. Disc 2 is stamped with a privy mark consisting of the intials (F?) E flanking interlace forming three loops which connects to a tun or barrel below, with this having three collars on either side. The mark has a corded border.
Dimensions: length 28.3mm; width 21.3mm; thickness 4.8mm; weight 8.12g.

A Post-Medieval lead London Dyer's Cloth seal, dating to AD 1613-1800. A two-disc seal with the connecting strip surviving intact. The first disc is stamped with a cart wheel, with +RICH: GOSSAGE around. The second disc is plain.
Dimensions: length 19.7mm; width 15.8mm; thickness 3.5mm; weight 4.92g.
Similar seal can be seen on this databse, LON-490183, on Bagseals.org, BSG.CS.00851, as well as in the Museum of London's collections, 81.4/16 and 81.4/15. These seals all feature a stamp on the reverse, and none clearly feature the abreviation of Richard seen here.

Two inner discs from an incomplete four-part lead cloth seal of Norfolk dating to AD 1685. The discs have a complete connecting strip on one side which is bent in half to place them back to back and the scar from the loss of the connectng strip on the opposite edge which would have led to another two disks joined by a rivet. One disk is marked 85 encircled by a plain line border with *NORFOLKE around, again in a plain linme border. The other side has a crown within a double border, the inner plain line and outer pelleted.The diameter is 10.5mm and the weight is 1.37g.

An incomplete Post-Medieval lead 4-disc cloth seal, dating to c. AD 1550-1800. Three of four discs survive. One disc is depicts a shield with an indented side, quartered by a triple stranded cross with a truncated probable sword in one field, the lower two quarters empty. A Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, issued during the reign of James I (AD 1603-1625) and dating to AD 1612. An incomplete probable 4-disc alnage seal, with two discs surviving, although now in two parts, broken at a fresh break. Disc 1 is stamped with a crowned thistle between [1]6 - 12, disc 2 is less clear, but appears to be 810 below [...]ET.

A Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, probably dating to c. AD 1550-1800. The seal is incomplete, with only the integral rivet and an adjoining section of the disc from which it expands surviving. The surviving section of the disc depicts a design of an eagle or perhaps more likely, a griffin, advancing left, right foot in front with each talon terminating in a pellet.

The seal survives in part on the front of the seal, stamped in low relief. An incomplete four-part Post-Medieval lead alnage cloth seal, probably dating to AD 1702-1714. Two lead or lead alloy discs which have been pressed together, with the connecting strip surviving and with the vestigial remains of the connecting strips to the other pair of discs present on the opposite edge. One disc is stamped with a left facing female bust, probably that of Queen Anne, with no clear evidence of an inscription. The reverse is stamped with a double rose surmounting the number 2.

A Post-medieval two-disc lead alnage cloth-seal probably dating to the period c. AD 1603-1625. The seal consists of two circular discs pressed back to back and connected by a central folded tab between them and by a rivet from one disc pushed through the centre of the other and flattened. The front disc (with the rivet on the back) has a design of a crowned fluer de lis flanked by intials, probably IR for James I (possibly ER or HR). Length: 17.8mm, Width: 14.8mm, Thickness: 2.8mm, Weight: 3.90g.
Egan (1994: 178-179, nos. 140, 177 & 181) publishes a number of examples with similar stamps dating to the post-reformation period and although locally made cloth seals continued in use in some areas, the national alnage system ended in 1724 (ibid: 4).
