An incomplete lead medieval to pist-medieval cloth seal. Only one sub-discoidal section survives. Two strips projecting from the centre of the reverse are all that is left of a section that would have passed through a hole on another disc originally, securing them together with the aid of a further strip joining one of the sides. The outer face of the surviving disc is decorated with an off-centre raised motif consisting of a pellet border and four spikey branch-like arms in cruciform in the centre. What looks like a fingerprint, but is probably part of another motif can be seen t…

An incomplete lead post-medieval cloth seal. Both discs survive, but the connecting strip is now missing. One disc features raised unclear letting with what appears to be the date 155[] below. The other features a sheep fleece/hanging sheep surrounded by a circle of pellets.  See PAS records YORYM-1684C3, PUBLIC-A6EBF2, NMS-F74ACA, HESH-136956, LIN-7988E4, DUR-AE5581 for comparison. The sheep fleec/hanging sheep features on the City of Leeds coat of arms and it seems likely that these seals are alnage/subsidy seals associated with the wool trade there.
