One disc from a lead cloth seal. One face has a stamp of the arms of Norwich, and although it seems complete there is no legend around. The other (the rivet face) has a tiny part of what may possibly be a portcullis stamp. Diameter c. 15 mm. An alnage (tax) seal of the late 16th or early 17th century.

PM Lead rectangular ?cloth seal. Possibly a searcher’s seal although neither its legend nor its shape bears any similarity to that described by Egan (1994, no.244). On one face an IG monogram, the other face blank. The folded-over sheet from which the object is made is much thicker than that used in normal cloth seals, giving a weight of 21.57g.
