An incomplete post medieval lead alloy cloth seal from the German city of Augsburg for linen and cotton fabric known as "Ousbrow or Augusta fustians" (Elton (2017) p296). One side has a stylistic, lower case letter ‘a’ within a beaded border. The reverse has a pine cone, the heraldic badge of Augsburg. Circa 16th to early 17th century.

An incomplete Medieval or Post Medieval lead cloth seal, probably dating to c. AD 1400-1714. Disc 1 of a 2- or 4-part seal. The surviving fragment comprises of a flat disc of lead with an integral rivet projecting from the reverse. The front of the disc is stamped with a crowned F flanked by fleur-de-lis, all in low relief. Dimensions: diameter 17.3mm; thickness 7.2mm; weight 2.48g. Post Medieval lead alloy two disc type alnage cloth seal. Only part of one disc remains with the central rivet which would have attached it to the other disc. The edges of the disc, with most of the connecting strip, have also broken away. The complete disc is plain or possibly very worn. The end of the rivet shows part of the stamped design of the royal arms. It is now 17.3mm by 17.2mm and 3.3mm thick and it weighs 3.06 grams. Medieval or Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal. Fragment of a two or four part seal consisting of the ring shaped front disk with a central hole. The central plug, back disk and connecting strips are missing. The front is stamped with a design that may be a bust or thistle flanked by crescents and small salrires within a pellet border. The reverse is plain with no impression of the cloth. It measures 20.5mm in diameter and 1.8mm thick. It weighs 2.4g. The design is unclear and might be Medieval or post medieval in style.

Lead two part cloth seal. Subsidy seal for the County of Somerset. Disc one with stud at back only remains. Sub circular. Edge damage and cracking. Front: Ornate shield with crown above. English coat of arms. Rope border around shield (circular). Legend around outside: S SVBCIDII PANNOR IN COM SOMERST. Trefoil stops. Lomardic script similar to lettering on 15th-16th century coins. Back has stamp on rivet top of a crowned rose.
