An incomplete lead alloy cloth alnage seal, probably of Early Post Medieval dating (c. 1525 to 1610), but the design did continued until 1724.
The cloth seal is of the two disc part, with the connecting strip missing. Disc 1, the larger of the two is plain, a inner circle is visible, this probably corresponds to the head of the rivet, extending from the other side. Disc 2 is stamped with a depiction of a crowned portcullis, with chains down either side.
It measures 19.7 mm in diameter, 1.9 mm thick and it weighs 3.54g.

Incomplete Early Post-Medieval lead two-part cloth seal with interconnecting strip, measuring 22.36mm in length, 19.42mm in width and weighing 3.77g. It is missing a quarter of Disc 1 and half of Disc 2.

An incomplete and very probably 3-part post medieval lead cloth seal. It is 23mm in diameter and max width, and 29mm in incomplete length.
The cloth seal is from the alnage system and depicts the Stuart Arms of Britain with IR to either side, on one face. It may well have had 1611 above the arms, though this part of the cloth seal is now missing.
On the reverse, the smaller disc with the rivet on one face has a series of incised lines crossing each other on its reverse face.
The third and missing disc may well have had the place name of origin.

A Medieval or Post Medieval cast lead or lead alloy cloth seal. It is composed of one remaining disc which has a squashed integral stud on the reverse. The outer face of the disc is decorated with a slender simplistic lion rampant which has a vertical 'o-' shape above. The surface of the seal is oxidised forming a mottled cream colour. It measures 23.83mm long, 20.22mm wide and 3.81mm thick. It weighs 5.7g.

Post medieval (late 16th to 17th century) lead alloy cloth seal: This is an incomplete two part cloth seal comprising two circular discs (one of which has only the central portion remaining). Disc one, the incomplete disc is undecorated. The complete disc has a stylised and ligatured privy mark reading CR.
The surface of the seal has a cream coloured. It measures 12.84mm long, 11.7mm wide, 2.85mm thick and weighs 2.19g.
Egan (1994) illustrates similar cloth seals with a privy seal, for example Nos. 219-231 dating to the late 16th to 17th century.
