An incomplete cloth seal of Post-Medieval, seventeenth century date (AD 1600 - AD 1700). Diameter 27.0mm and 2.6mm thick. Weight 5.06g. This two-disc seal is of a type associated with imports from Haarlem in the Netherlands of a fine linen known in England as 'holland'. This is disc 1 of a 2 disc seal. It has a clothier's/weaver's stamp with a conventional-form privy mark which has a cabled circle within which are the initials W, and S ligatured with C or O. An incomplete cast lead cloth seal of Post-Medieval date. Probably sixteenth to eighteenth century. Length: 19.6mm; width: 17.8mm and 4.0mm thick. Wight: 3.66g. The seal consists of part of one disc and the rivet head. The rivet head has a raised letter W with curving raised lines below. The rear face of the incomplete disc has traces of a textile impression. Buff patina and old breaks. A similar cloth seal with a letter W is illustrated by Egan (Egan 1994, 84, fig. 32, ref. 236). This example is dated ?sixteenth to eighteenth century.

A complete but damaged cast lead cloth seal of Post-Medieval date (c. AD 1500 – c. AD 1650). Diameter: 21.7mm; thickness: 3.7mm; weight: 6.72g. A two-disc seal with a connecting strip. This cloth seal is corroded and worn. Consequently, it is difficult to determine the design on each face. However, it is probably a seal of Augsburg in Germany where fustians (mixed linen-warp and cotton-weft fabrics) were produced. [Pine-cone] (possibly) // ornate A with a chevron bar. The pine-cone is the heraldic badge of the city of Augsburg. Examples are illustrated in Egan 1995.

An incomplete cast lead cloth seal, probably issued during the reign of Queen Anne. This disc was probably part of a four-disc seal from the series featuring a monarch's head. As Egan (1994, 60) states, the relief designs on these alnage seals are characterised by fine detail resulting from well-engraved dies. The disc bears a female bust facing left, that of Queen Anne surrounded by the inscription: FIDEI DEFEN (Defender of the Faith). A complete cast lead two part Norwich Weaver’s Company cloth seal of Post-Medieval date (1650-1705). The seal has a rectangular connecting strip that is 2.7 x 7.0mm. and has two integral discs. Disc 1 has raised numerals: 28 ½ (in two lines). The head of the lead rivet in between the two discs joining them together is visible on this disc. An incomplete cast lead cloth seal of early eighteenth century date, c. AD 1701-14. Maximum diameter: 14.4mm, thickness: 1.1mm. Weight: 1.63g. A single disc of a four disc seal. It is sub-circular in plan and at the front is a moulded bust of Queen Anne facing left. Two connecting strips survive. These are about 3.8mm in width. The rear face is flat and plain. An incomplete cast lead cloth seal of probable eighteenth century date (AD 1700 – AD 1800). Length: 34.8mm; diameter: 27.0mm and 2.6mm thick. Weight: 11.22g. A two disc seal. Side 1 (slightly smaller than side 2): Raised privy mark with initials S C. Side 2: Scratched markings which are difficult to interpret seem to be 12(?0) over horizontal line, possibly 6 or 8 below – presumably consignment numbers, although the 12 could represent the length in yards. No immediate parallels found. The seal has a light grey patina overall.

A cloth seal of two parts joined together by a connecting strip. Disc 1: Raised crowned letter H to left; raised crowned letter T to right. The letters have large serifs. Disc 2: Possibly a privy mark (raised), vaguely resembling a capital letter E or F. This may be part of the weaver's initials. The seal is in a stable condition and has an overall grey patina. No parallel found.

A fragment of a cast lead cloth seal of Post-Medieval date, early/mid seventeenth century. Length: 18.1mm; width: 13.8mm and 3.9mm thick. Weight: 2.76g. The seal is of two parts: Disc 1: Raised design of a castle with three towers (part of the disc is missing). Disc 2: Raised Stuart arms of Britain (only part of the disc, the rivet stub, survives. All the breaks are old. Geoff Egan, Finds Adviser of the Portable Antiquities Scheme, has commented: 'several of these are known but none is complete. Possibly from Norwich but not certainly so'.
