The reverse disc has an unclear motif, possibly a ship sailing from a port in a castle tower (the arms of Bristol).

A Post-medieval two-disc lead alnage cloth-seal probably dating to the period c. AD 1603-1625. The seal consists of two circular discs pressed back to back and connected by a central folded tab between them and by a rivet from one disc pushed through the centre of the other and flattened. The front disc (with the rivet on the back) has a design of a crowned fleur de lis flanked by letters, possibly [I]R for James I. A lead alloy clothworker's personal seal with a privy mark on one side surrounded by a beaded border. The mark comprises the letters G Z H over a central stalk, with perpendicular arms over a loop at the base and an unclear projection obove, (similar to an upside down anchor). The reverse is blank and there is a stamped pattern of Vs between linear borders on the connecting tab. Circa 16th-18th century.

A cloth seal from Augsburg in Germany, for an imported fustian textile (mixed linen and cotton).
One side bears a pine cone (the symbol of Augsburg) within a circular frame of arches and trefoils. The other side shows an ox passant (a quality symbol).
