Probably a Medieval - Post Medieval lead alloy fragment of a cloth seal, dating late 14th - 19th century. This is probably part of a four part cloth seal with two discs connected by a short rectangular tab. One of the discs has the remains of an illegible inscription or pattern. There are either radiating lines forming a border around the edge of the disc or it is an inscription. The central pattern is illegible. A Post-Medieval lead alloy cloth seal (17th century). This is a two disc seal with an interconnecting strip. On the first disc is a privy mark and the initials “WA”, probably a clothier or weaver. A Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal from Gloucester (AD1665). This is a four-part cloth seal where each part is lozenge-shaped. The two larger parts are stamped. Side one bears the crown above the Royal shield with C to the right and R to the left for Charles II. Side two reads GLOS/TER/1665 with an annulet above. The lower two unmarked sides are joined with the stud and perforation. Dimensions: length: 41.41mm; width: 22.35mm; thickness: 7.24mm; weight: 9.64g.

A Post Medieval lead alloy four-part cloth seal dating to the end of the 16th century. Disc one includes the integral rivet. The stamped rivet has the lettering "SER/CHED" still legible. Disc two is the first inner disc and shows an animal, possibly horse, with raised fore leg and the letters PH. A fragment Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, dating from AD1680-1690. The seal consists of one disc. The lack of a connecting rivet and the jagged breaks on corresponding edges of the discs suggests that a little over a quarter of the seal remains with another three discs connected by the rivet missing. On one side of the seal is a central circular field with the letters [T] N with a [3] above, surrounding is the legend [* GL]OSTER [..] The edge of the seal is damaged. Complete Post Medieval lead alloy St Petersburg bale (or bag) seal dated 1804. The bifaced seal has been cast with a raised legend on both sides. The letters are a mixture of the Roman and Cyrillic alphabet, and are roughly arranged in short lines to fit inside the circular plan. Complete Post Medieval lead alloy Russian bale (or bag) seal of unknown origin, 1750 - 1800. The unifaced seal has been cast with a raised legend on one side and an undecorated reverse. The legend is in the Cyrillic alphabet and does not contain the St Petersburg initials SPB or any other readily decipherable information.
