Lead cloth seal comprising two sealed discs with three crowns within a garland on one side and the intials D above LG within a garland on the other. Below these initials and on the garland is an impressed letter Z on its side. Five pellets are in the upper right section of this side and there may be others in the field on the other side. There are two raised diagonal lines between the upper two crowns, possibly a flaw.

Lead cloth seal comprising a strip of four discs folded in half. The design on the two smaller opposing discs is indistinct or absent. The two larger opposing discs either side of the connecting strip have, on one side, the letters *M above BA[V.] and on the other a series of vertical lines within a triangular border (possibly a shield) off the the centre of the disc.

Lead cloth seal. The circular seal is impressed with a rampant lion and a character in black letter. The reverse is impressed with a merchants mark and incised scratch ciphers. Lead alloy cloth seal, consisting of two discs with a connecting strip, folded. On one side, TAVNTON. is arranged around a central cinquefoil in a beaded circular border. The other side has two leopards left with a crown and the numerals 72 above, in a similar border. This is likely to be the date 1672. The seal is from Taunton in Somerset, an important cloth manufacturing centre.

A Medieval - Post Medieval lead two-disc cloth seal (late 14th – 18th century). Disc one has some lettering within a rectangular field with two chevrons (possibly a branch) above and a pellet on either side of the chevrons. All is enclosed within a pellet border. The lettering is quite indistinct, it reads ..OSL/W…. Only a fragment of disc two remains around the central rivet. The connecting strip is damaged and the majority is broken and missing. A Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal from Gloucester (AD1665). This is a four-part cloth seal where each part is lozenge-shaped. The two larger parts are stamped. Side one bears the crown above the Royal shield with C to the right and R to the left for Charles II. Side two reads GLOS/TER/1665 with an annulet above. It has been double struck and this obscures the details. Side one reads: BOKING DEVTCH around the motif crown above a rose, S to one side. Side two reads: WICK [---] BAIES and the design possibly resembles a lamb. This is a cloth seal for baize from Bocking, Essex in the Dutch style.
