A complete lead alloy cloth seal dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1450-1600).
The seal is made of two discs thar are pressed and riveted together and joined by a small loop. One disc is incomplete and presents an ornate shield of England with a sun to the right, set within a beaded border. Around the border is an illegible legend. The second disc is riveted in the centre and the overall design is worn. It presents a possible crown with sun to the right, all set within a beaded border. The object has a powdery white patina.

A complete lead alloy Dutch excise duty seal dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1814-1950).
The seal is made of one complete disc that is riveted to a second which are joined by a flat lead thread. The complete disc is worn and presents a six-pointed star. This face likely presents a series of stars consistent with Type STERREN-999 of Dutch excise seals. The excise number would be below the stars. The opposite face is well worn and no details survive, however it would likely have shown the Dutch coat of arms. The object has a cream / grey patina.

An incomplete lead cloth seal of Augsburg dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1500-1650)
The surviving fragment consists a single disc (disc 1) of a two or four-part cloth seal, with an integral rivet projecting from the reverse. A small part at the edge of the disc is folded over and this may be a remnant of the connecting strip (or of disc 2 in the case of a four-part seal).

An almost complete lead cloth seal probably dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1600-1800).
The object is comprised of two circular discs that are attached to one another by a sub-rectangular loop. One face presents the raised letters N G with a single star above and below. The lettering is encompassed by a beaded border. The other face has no raised details, but has a roughly incised 58 etched into the face. The discs are connected with a sub-rectangular strip. The remains of a second strip are present at the opposite end. The object has a powdery white patina.

One half of a two part post medieval lead bag or cloth seal dating to c.AD1660-1685.
The seal is uniface, featuring a bust to right possibly of Charles II. The rim is damaged but appears to have originally had a design of raised areas meant to resemble the crumpled edge of a prize ribbon.

An incomplete cast lead or lead alloy cloth seal, probably dating to the late Medieval - Post Medieval, between AD 1400 - 1600.
The cloth seal is sub-circular in plan and slightly concave in section. It consists of one disc, the reverse shows the flattened remains of the rivet survive, it seems to have been bent slightly at an angle. The artefact appears to be decorated on one side only (the riveted face), where a probable horse, dog or camel with a long tail is depicted facing right in the centre. There is no other decoration. An incomplete lead cloth seal of post-medieval date. The seal is of the two disc type though the majority of the reverse disc has been lost along with the connecting strip. It is circular in shape and flat and the front is decorated with a coat of arms and the date 1663.
This cloth seal relates to the city of Strasbourg in the Alsace region of eastern France. It contains the arms of the city in an ornate shield. Cast lead bag, bail or cloth seal of probable Post-Medieval date (1500-1800 AD). The seal is a flattened irregular disc with a single projecting lug. The seal is 14 mm at its maximum diameter and is 3.5 mm thick, weighing 3.7 grams. It is stamped on the obverse with the image of a circle with a fleur-de-lys at its centre. The reverse is plain. Dark grey/green patina. Recorded at Combermere Abbey Rally in 2008.

Lead seal used for bags of cloth from the Post-Medieval period. It is made from two circles attached by a thin strip, then folded over in half. It is complete with the strip unbroken. There are the letters RB on one face, these could refer to the merchant or trader.
