Post Medieval lead cloth seal probably of 17th or 18th century date
The seal is of circular, two-disc type. One face comprises of a central crown with a possible rose below. The opposite face is unfortunately worn flat removing all detail.

Modern lead cloth seal issued by Prests of Leeds. The seal has two oval 'discs' linked by a rectangular tab. The projection on one disc has been fitted through a hole in the centre of the other and stamped flat, linking them together. The stamp had the inscription [P]RESTS // LEEDS within a pellet border. It is 40.6mm by 28.5mm by 2.9mm thick, and weighs 11.97 grams. DUR-D7E406 on this database is similar.
