The button features a flat discoidal face with moulded decoration comprised of a central pellet within pointed oval grooves and two concentric circles topped with small pellets.
The reverse of the head is flat and an integral elongated oval loop projects from it. The loop projection has been compressed towards the head and the loop filled with organic material. The surface of the heads reverse features a deep groove through its centre and irregular areas of excess lead-alloy.
The metal has a dull pale grey patina and is worn. The button is 25.34mm in diameter and 14.87mm in height, the loop projection is 8.69mm wide and 4.69mm thick. The button weighs 15.87g.

The button has a circular head with a gently domed top with a pellet in the centre. The front is decorated with irregularly spaced grooves running from the pellet to the edge. These grooves contain very small transverse incised grooves. A large sub-circular area of the head is missing, it cannot be determined if this is the result of damage or an intentional feature.
The reverse of the head is flat and an integral elongated oval, loop projects centrally from it. The loop is flat with a small circular perforation through it.
The metal has a dull pale grey patina and is worn. The button is 14.04mm long, 11.07mm in diameter, the loop projection is 7.82mm wide and 3.15mm thick and weighs 4.07g.

The obverse is corroded and worn and the pattern is no longer clearly visible but there appears to be a floral design with small circles between the petals of a flower. The the reverse of the button surface is flat and mottled with patches of corrosion, there is a small square depression in the centre where an attachment loop may haqve been originally soldered.
