A complete enamelled copper-alloy post-medieval button. The button is discoidal with a convex outer face and concave reverse. The remains of a small integral attachment loop project from the centre of the reverse. The reverse is decorated with the raise arms of the Commonwealth comprising the shields England (St George) and Ireland (the Harp) placed next to one another, dating the object to the Commonwealth period - AD 1649-60. An incomplete probable Post-Medieval copper-alloy button dating to circa AD 1600-1700. Its head is discoidal in plan and plano-convex in section. Its front face is decorated with a now very degraded central ring and dot. 18 ring and dots run around the circumference of the outer edge. On the reverse, there appears to be a longitudinal casting seam. In the centre, on the hoizontal axis, is a integrally cast fitting which is rectangular. An incomplete copper-alloy post-medieval button. It is a flat pentagonal shape. Its outer face is decorated with five raised pellets around a single central pellet. The remains of the shank can be seen in the centre of the reverse. There is possibly some writing around the outer edge of the reverse, but this cannot be seen clearly now.

An incomplete lead-alloy button of post-medieval. The front of the head is domed to a rounded point with recessed lines radiating outwards from the centre. There is an integral attachment projecting 4.21mm from the reverse, but the loop is missing. An incomplete lead, or lead alloy, button of 18th century AD date, of a type often made in silver or cut steel (see Bailey, G. 2004 p.65). Compare with PAS record CAM-7EE27C, which has almost identical decoration. This complete object weighs 21.03g. It has a circular shape with diameter of 26.5mm. In profile the button's head has a semi-circular form, convexly domed to the front with a flat reverse. The current maximum thickness over the button is 7.5mm. A complete Post Medieval cast copper alloy livery button, c.AD 1700-1800. This is a domed button with a small hoop attached to its reverse face. The obverse is decorated with the household livery of a griffin seated on a letter A. The surface of this button was gilded, although only small amounts remain.

Its front face is decorated with two concentric incised borders, an inner and outer, 5mm apart. Between the borers is an incised floriate motif. From the underside projects a sub-rectangular loop with central perforation. The front face is decorated with an elaborate foliate motif set inside a circumferential border. A complete Post Medieval coppper-alloy button or cloak fastener dating to to circa AD 1625-1700. The button is heaxagonal in plan with a flat top and faceted sides. The reverse is hollowed concave dome. Emerging from the centre of the reverse is a rectangular loop with a drilled circular fixing hole. The front face is decorated with a central flower motif of four small circles in a quatrefoil within a plain ring within a ring of pellets. On the flat underside two short stumps where the loop would have been are extant. The surface is tinned.
