A crudely cast, lead alloy cube, probably used as an apothecaries' weight and dating from the Medieval or Post Medieval period, about AD 1200 - 1800. Probably three faces, and possibly five of the faces, are marked with five shallow circular depressions arranged in a cross. These seem to indicate the value of the weight as being five drachms and the mass being 21.03 grams (324.7 grains) seems to support this (one drachm is 60 grains).
