A complete copper-alloy Medieval Heraldic shield shaped harness pendant. The suspension loop is bent, but would have originally been set at right angles to the plane of the pendant. The front face of the shield bears the amorial device enclosed within a raised outer border. Ermine on a chief indented (of 4 points) sable, two lions rampant Or. A medieval copper alloy horse harness pendant. The pendant is shield-shaped with the remains of an attachment hoop projecting from the top. The front face of the pendant depicts a lion rampant within a shield-shaped border; much of the red enamel remains on the lion. The back of the pendant is plain. Shield-shaped (type I) pendants are thought to date from the 14th century, and would have been attached to the leather harness for a horse. However, some pendants with gems or bearing inscriptions are thought to have been for personal use.

A four-armed harness pendant with zoomorphic terminals. Medieval date.The central boss features a lion rampant within a sunken circular cell, which has traces of enamel. The terminals have dogs head designs, and one has a hole through it to allow for suspension. The lion appears upside down when held with the pierced terminal at 12 o'clock (the tail being at the top and the haed at 6 oclock). The dogs head terminals date this to a 14th century style.

Complete but worn copper-alloy and enamel heraldic horse harness pendant of medieval date. The pendant is flat and shield-shaped with a suspension loop along the top edge of the shield. The shield is plain on the reverse and carries a coat of arms design on the front consisting of a quartered shield with a red lion rampant in the top-right quarter and probably the bottom left quarter, the design of the remaining two quarters is not clear. The coat of arms has not been identified as belonging to any particular family at this time. Dated c.1200-1400.

A copper alloy Medieval harness pendant dating from 1200 - 1400. It is shield shaped and has a suspension loop extending from the centre of the top of the shield. The loop is at right angles to the shield and is broken. The design is not very clear but seems to be a rampant lion in relief metal on a blue enamel ground (Azure, a lion rampant queue forchee [Argent/Or). The metal has a bright green patina.

A complete but worn cast copper-alloy Medieval horse harness pendant. The pendant is a quatrefoil shape and is missing its suspension loop. The central design is a shield with a lion rampant at the centre. Traces of red enamel survive in the background along with slight remnants of gilding. There is further raised scrolling decoration between the shield and the outer edge of the quatrefoil nut the motifs are not clear. An incomplete, cast, copper-alloy harness pendant, in the form of an openwork lion rampant, dating to the Medieval period. The lion faces left, with three legs raised off the ground and a long tail that curves up the back forming two loops. The incomplete suspension loop projects from the top of the lion's head and is set at right angles to the pendant. The suspension loop has been broken and only a small stub remains. There are traces of silvering over all the surfaces.

The pendant consists of an integral suspesion loop which sits at the apex of a 'diamond' shaped plate. The object is decorated with a relief lion rampant facing left which is contained within a scalloped edged border. The recess is filled with red enamel in the left half and black in the right, with the join running behind the centre of the lion.
