A complete cast copper-alloy harness pendant of medieval date (c.1280-1350). Description: The objetc is comprised of a shield-shaped plate with an integrally cast suspension loop set perpendicular to its upper edge. The upper face of the plate features a heraldic motif in relief depicting a lion rampant. There are faint traces of a red enamel background, and the pendant itself may have originally been gilded, though none survives. The pendant is patinated a dark brown. A Medieval copper alloy harness pendant of c. AD 1200-1400 date. The pendant is a "heater" shield shaped type with a broken pierced projecting lug on the top that forms the suspension loop. The surface of the pendant is corroded but stil shows a lion rampant left. The remains of guilding can be seen on the surface. The pendant is 45.5mm long, 26.7mm wide, 4mm thick and weighs 13.3 grams.

A complete Medieval copper-alloy horse harness pendant dated 13th-14th century (c.1200-1400). The object is shield shaped with an integral loop attached to the straight edge which as been bent out of shape. The edges of pendant have been worn away so that it is no long a regular shied shape as intended. On the front surface there is a raised design of a lion rampant right with a background of red enamel. The pendant is 39.4mm long, 18.8mm wide, 2.3mm thick and weighs 4.50 grams.

A Medeival cast copper alloy shield-shaped harness pendant with a thick integral circular loop . Both sides of the pendant have been decorated with serveral colours of enamle and there are remains of gilding present. The design depicts a rabbit or hare in a white enamel on both sides. The rabbit or hear appears to be in the same pose as a lion rampant.There is green and blue coloured foliage on eitherside of the rabbit. A similar rabbit design can be seen on the database in IHS-556397. 48.1mm long, 42.3mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 22.60 grams.

A Medieval cast copper alloy horse harness suspension mount and pendant found together, c. 1200 - c. 1400 date. The suspension mount is 'T'-shaped. It has two horizontal arms and one vertical hinge turned through 90° for the harness pendant below. Each arm end is perforated to accommodate a rivet and terminates with a narrow knop. A very similar example can be seen in Clark 1995 page 69 ref 74. The suspension mount is 40.1mm long, 7.2mm wide, 5.1mm thick and weighs 7.9 grams.
