Medieval coppper alloy and enamel harness pendant, 33mm long, 21mm wide at top and 2mm thick. The obejct is in fair condition, missing a small fragment at its base and weighs 4.17grams.
The pendant is shield shaped with an integral suspenion loop. It depicts a lion rampant over a field of red enamel. This is surrounded by a wide foliate border which is mostly filled with blue enamel, but has a small section at each side which are filled with red, in a slightly darker shade than the centre..

Complete but worn copper-alloy and enamel heraldic horse harness pendant of medieval date. The pendant is flat and shield-shaped with a suspension loop along the top edge of the shield. The shield is plain on the reverse and carries a coat of arms design on the front consisting of a quartered shield with a red lion rampant in the top-right quarter and probably the bottom left quarter, the design of the remaining two quarters is not clear. The coat of arms has not been identified as belonging to any particular family at this time. Dated c.1200-1400.

A copper alloy Medieval harness pendant dating from 1200 - 1400. It is shield shaped and has a suspension loop extending from the centre of the top of the shield. The loop is at right angles to the shield and is broken. The design is not very clear but seems to be a rampant lion in relief metal on a blue enamel ground (Azure, a lion rampant queue forchee [Argent/Or). The metal has a bright green patina.

Medieval harness pendant; cast copper alloy harness pendant of 14th century date. The pendant is of quatrelobed shape with a large, rounded lug at the top in the perpendicular plane to the pendant. The lug is pierced with a circular hole to form a suspension loop. The pendant is decorated on the front face with enamel and gilding. The device is worn and somewhat confused but seems to be a beast, possibly a lion rampant with shaggy legs, heading left in white enamel on a gilt background. The back face is undecorated.

Medieval harness pendant; cast copper alloy harness pendant of 14th century date. The pendant is shield-shaped and has a worn knop extending from the centre of the top which would have originally been a suspension loop. The pendant is very worn but seems to have the remains of very degraded enamel on both faces. The front face can be seen to have the image of a lion rampant facing left with some kind of border. The reverse has the remains of a cross. The enamel is mostly missing and that which remains has degraded to a pasty substance of dark green colour.

Medieval harness pendant; Cast copper alloy harness pendant with enamelled decoration, dating to the 14th/15th century. The harness pendant is formed of a single, flat, shield-shaped plate of copper alloy with a suspension loop drawn up from the centre of the top and lying in the perpendicular plane to the main plate of the pendant. Medieval shield shaped copper alloy heraldic harness pendant of the Medieval period, dating from c. AD 1300 - AD 1350.
The pendant is "heater" shield-shaped type (with sides sloping steeply to a point at the base). On the flat edge is a integrally cast suspension loopp set at a right angle to the pendant angled forwards, the suspension loop is missing presumed lost in antiquity. The arms depicted is of six lions rampant on an azure (blue) background, divided by a bend argent (three lines extending from the top left corner diagonally across the shield)
