A Post-Medieval copper alloy dress fastener with the arms of the Commonwealth dating to c. AD 1647 - 1660. The fastener consists of an oval plate with three perforated lugs for attachment. Two of these lugs are at its base, flanking what would have been an integral sub-rectangular attachment loop which is now broken and only indicated by two projecting stumps. A complete copper-alloy dress fitting (hooked tag) dating to the early post-medieval period. The body is circular and decorated with a raised moulded boss in the form of a cherub's head. The head is set against a sunburst pattern of moulded ribs. The loop is trapezoid and the hook is complete. Read (2008) Class E Type 3, AD 1550-1700. An incomplete gilded copper alloy dress fastener from the post medieval period, dating from AD 1600-1700. The object is designed around a central moulded six petalled floral motif, below which are a further three lobes. Each of the six petals and three lobes was originally void, although the upper right two petals and lower right lobe are now filled in with debris. The voids are marked out with moulded linear decoration that follows each line, and the centre of the flower is also emphasised with the same technique. A cast copper alloy dress fastener, dating from the early post-medieval period, C. 1550 - 1700 AD. The flat oval body has three pierced attachment lugs, one on each side of the oval and the third, at the top. The base of the oval has a flat, broad hook, turned back to the decorated side of the oval. The design appears to be in part cast, and then engraved/punched with cross hatch within the spray of five leaves, in the style of a Romanesque acanthus leaf. The edge is further decorated by a border of small annulets. The reverse is plain, and the surface has a mottled and pitted green patina.

An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy dress fastener eye-piece of Read's Class A, Type 2 (1500-1700). The sub-oval plate has moulded decoration at the front and is flat and plain at the rear. At one end are the scant remains of an eye-section attachment loop and at the opposite end there is an incomplete attachment knop. There are two further attachment knops just below the attachment loop, one at each side. A Post Medieval copper alloy wound wire hooked fastener dating to the 16th century. This hooked tag is constructed from lengths of wire. one length of thicker grade wire has been shaped to from the hook at each end. A thinner grade wire has been wrapped around the body of the hooks to hold their shape. This thinner wire has been hammered flat once in place. Lead dress hook with a trefoil shaped serrated sided plate that supports three hemispherical domes. Each dome is decorated with a central boss on the top with four further bosses arranged evenly around the edge. In the centre of the plate is a large pellet that has three radiating ridges that dived the domes. On the reverse is a reward projecting rectangular lead loop, and at the lower edge is an expanded ridge that forms a socket that holds a rearward projecting hook made from a copper alloy pin.
