A complete early post medieval copper-alloy dress fastener, dating to c.AD 1500 - 1625. Read Class E type 3 The dress fastener is cast in one-piece with moulded relief. It has a circular plate decorated with a six-petalled flower with six pellets and a central pellet in the interstices, within a linear border. Above the plate is a wide trapezoidal loop. The object is trefoil in form, cast in one-piece with moulded relief and openwork.
