Discoidal mount of copper alloy sheet with a central hole filled with remains of an iron rivet and surrounded by rust on both faces. The front face is engraved with a ring of rocker-arm around the edge and eight lines of the same radiating from the centre. The object is probably part of a Read 2008, early post-medieval double sharp-hooked clasp of Class S, of which two other examples with circular plates have been recorded in Norfolk (NMS-6DA7EF and NMS-AE34D1).
