An incomplete copper-alloy blunt-hooked dress fastener of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1600 - 1700. Reads Class A, Type 2. The main plate is sub-ovate with two complete ovate attachment knops projecting from either side of the outer edges. A third attachment knop is present to the pointed end of the plate. The wider end of the plate displays worn projections which would have formed an integral eye. The upper surface of the plate is decorated with a spray of three flowers bordered by ring and dot motifs. The metal has a mid-grey shiny patina suggesting a white-metal coating and is worn. …

A copper alloy hook, from a hook and eye fitting of Modern date, probably AD 1800 - 1980. It is made from thick gauge circular-sectioned copper alloy wire, bent double, then bent into a hook, with the ends each curving out to the side to form two sewing or attachment loops. The object is 37.1mm long, 25.4mm wide, 18.9mm thick and weighs 14.0g. It was found close to another almost identical object - SWYOR-842D9C. A very close parallel is Read (1998) number 589, his Early Post Medieval Class A, type 1. Treasure Number: 2019 T1250 A complete silver cast post medieval dress fastener dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1500-1600). The object is single cast with a moulded relief. The plate has a trefoil motif with each side having three petals. Circular attachment holes are positioned evenly in each third. An incomplete, early Post-Medieval copper alloy dress fastener dating to c.AD 1500-1700. It is an eye-clasp section of a blunt hooked-clasp, of Read's (2008) class A, type 2. It is an elongated oval plate with a projecting rectangular bar, which is now broken. At both sides of the waist and the opposite terminal there are the remains of annular suspension loops, all of which are broken. It is undecorated on both faces. The copper alloy is worn and has a pale brown patina, mottled with green. Length: 34.3mm, width: 21.9mm, thickness: 1.8mm, weight: 3.8g.
