A possible cast copper alloy Post Medieval dress accessory in the shape of a face. It is broken on all edges. The reverse is flat, with a raised line running down what would have been the centre of the complete object. This line could well have been a method of attachment. The front of the item is a face, with two large circular eyes shown as raised dots set in small hollows. The nose is a raised triangle and then it is broken, although there is the possibility of something depicting a mouth.
