A post-medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy dress hook of Read's Class A Type 2 single blunt-hooked type with three attachment loops, missing its hook (old damage). The object has an ovoid plate with moulded foliate decoration, with the projection for the hook extending from one of the long edges. From the opposite edge is a triangular projection from which extends a loop; the other two loops are situated at either end of the opposite long edge. A complete copper alloy hooked tag dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD1550-1700). The tag is oval in plan with a rectangular attachment loop at one end, two smaller rounded attachment loops on either side of the rectangular loop, and a further rounded attachment loop at the opposite end. The tag is decorated with two double-scroll knops on both of the long sides of the oval and single scroll knops on either side of the single rounded attachment loop. An incomplete post-medieval single sharp-hooked clasp (Read Class E, type 3 ), dating to period c. AD 1550 - 1750. It is incomplete insofar as the hook is missing. It is decorated with a cross in foral pattern with a central pellet; at projecting ridged and ribbed collar at the juncture of the plate. The object measures 21.48mm in length and 15.67mm in max width. The thickness measures 1.71mm and the weighs is 1.53g.

Very possibly a middle Saxon or Carolingian copper alloy double-hooked dress fastener dateing from the 8th-early 9th century.. The hooks are conjoined by an integral sub-rectangular sectioned bar that is pierced by a neat, probably drilled, transverse hole, and is decorated with multiple transverse grooves, now rather faint through abrasion. Sometimes identified as shroud hooks, such objects might also have been used as harbicks (havettes or shear-board hooks, implements to fix cloth during the sharing of the nap). A post-medieval copper-alloy hooked clasp, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1700. The eye section of the two part hooked clasp. The object has a central circular plate, very slightly convex with a hollow back, from one side expands an integral rectangular attachment loop with a round integral perforated lug opposite, the lug terminating in a small pointed knop. A complete copper alloy dress fastener or toggle of post-medieval date, circa AD 1600-1800. The toggle consists of an oval body in profile with a circular sectioned shank. Extending from one side is a figure of eight loop terminal. The toggle is undecorated. The metal has a mid-green to brown coloured patina across all surfaces. Cast copper alloy dress fastener or strap fitting with a large rectangular eye that was used to attach to a strap or sewn onto textile and a scallop-shaped terminal at the opposite end to attach to another clasp. The frame is heart shaped with decorative openwork 'kidney shaped" apertures, with a circular aperture at the center. Post Medieval dress hook, c.1550-1670, Read Class A Type 10, cast copper alloy, Oval plate with three integrally cast loops, the eye by which the hook was attached to its counterpart is missing. The face of the hook bears an oval panel of foliate decoration, now obscured by corrosion. Around this is a band of small ovals. Length 34.4mm, Width 21.7mm, Thickness 2.2mm, Mass 6.17g.
