An incomplete post medieval copper-alloy flat clothing fastener with foliate decoration dating to c.1550-1700. This is an eye section with its broken rectangular attachment end into which a blunt hook would fit, consisting of a sub oval plate which has three attachment drilled knops. The upper surface of the plate is decorated with engraved and punched lines, circles and curves, mainly forming a spray of flowers. The field is bordered with small annulet punches. An Early-Medieval, copper-alloy double-hooked dress-fastener. The hooks are conjoined by an integral sub-rectangular sectioned bar that is pierced by a neat, probably drilled, transverse hole. On the central bar decoration is clearly visible on the side facing towards the inwards-curving hooks. It is decorated with five pairs of incised lines running across its width. A post medieval cast copper alloy Class E single sharp-hooked clasp, Type 1, rectangular with moulded relief. It has a longitudinal rectangular raised panel, each side engrailed (three knops on each side) and has a double ridged ribbed collar at the junction of plate and rearward facing hook. ~~Copper alloy 'female' tag from a pair hooked tags. The tag has a sub-lozenge plate with scrollwork edges and a large rectangular loop at one end. At either side of the rectangular loop are two pierced lugs with a third at the rear for attachment. The centre of the plate is decorated with a foliate design of a central flower surrounded by four small buds arranged in a cross saltire; to either side is a leaf with serrated edges; above and blow is a berry. This artefact dates to the 16th century.
