A post-medieval copper alloy dress hook, eye-section, of Read's Class A Type 2 dating from AD 1500 - 1700. The sub-oval plate is orientated transversely; it has a raised rim and moulded decoration. At one end is a rounded attachment knop while at the opposite end is the sub-rectangular eye-section (loop, 8.4mm internal width). A complete copper alloy dress fastener (dress hook) dating to the early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) period. The fastener has a shield-shaped plate with trilobed upper terminal each with a perforation, to secure to fastener to an item of dress. At the narrow end of the plate a short, tightly curved hook extends towards the rear of the plate. There is no decoration on either side of the plate. Read's Class D, dating from c. 700 - 1100 AD.

A copper alloy dress fastener or mount from dating from about AD 1200-1700. It is a lozenge shaped plate of copper alloy with no surviving evidence of attachment. The front has an incised border with short transverse lines between the border line and the edge of the plate. The centre of the plate is decorated with faint rocker arm decoration. An early post-medieval (1500-1700) copper-alloy dress hook of Read Class A, Type 2 with three attachment knops (hooked section). The plate is flat and 2.1mm thick. It depicts a central expanding stem, and has a spray of three flowers surrounded by ring-and-dot decoration flanking the outside edge. In total, the hooked tag measures 43.1mm in length, 30.3mm wide and weighs 9.54g. Similar to HAMP-70E230. Cf. Read 639-44.

A complete lead and copper alloy dress fastener (dress hook / hooked tag) of early post-medieval date. The dress hook has a large lozenge-shaped head decorated with raised pellets around a central lozenge-shape cell. On the reverse of the dress hook is a rectangular bar for attachment to clothing. At the base of the plate the copper alloy hook is inserted into a lead sleeve. The hook is complete. Similar dress hooks are illustrated in Read (2008:68). They date to the 16th century AD.

An incomplete cast, early post medieval copper alloy dress fastener, missing the hook itself, dating to c AD 1500 - 1600. It is a one piece, circular, convex hook, early medieval Class E, type 3 (similar to nos 321 - 326 Read, Hooked Clasps and Eyes: 2008). It has possibly a human or zoomorphic head in moulded relief on a circular plate, with probably a beaded border, and an angular, sub trapezoidal loop. It is 18.29mm in length, 13.77mm in width amd weighs 1.85g.

A complete but worn cast copper-alloy dress fitting / hooked tag dating to the post-Medieval, c.16th century AD. The tag is formed from longitudinal rectangular panel, with engrailed side edges. At the juncture of the integrally cast hook and the main plate is a ribbed collar while at the opposite end is a horizontal bar attachment loop. The hook is complete and curved back on itself. The front of the fitting has decoration but it is too worn to discern. Read (2008) Class E Type 1.

The flower head has eight pointed oval leaves extending from a central pellet. A perimeter of pellets surrounds the flower head.
