A gold disc, probably part of a late Post Medieval or Modern collar stud or similar dress fitting, dating from AD 1850 - 2000. It is a shallowly domed disc with no decoration. A cast, copper alloy toggle dating from the post-Medieval period, 1600-1800 AD. It consists of a rounded body in the shape of a pointed oval, from one side of which extends a short, circular shaft ending in a pair of rings positioned side by side. The toggle has a patchy, dark green patina. It is 26.9mm long, 22.7mm wide and 8.2mm thick. It weighs 8.68gm. There are many examples on the PAS Database; DENO-D53724 lists many others.
