A complete early post medieval copper-alloy dress fastener, dating to c.AD 1500 - 1625. Read Class E type 3 The dress fastener is cast in one-piece with moulded relief. It has a circular plate decorated with a six-petalled flower with six pellets and a central pellet in the interstices, within a linear border. Above the plate is a wide trapezoidal loop. An incomplete Post-Medieval copper-alloy dress hook, dating to AD 1500 - 1600. The dress hook is of Read (2008) Class A, type 2. The objects main body consists of an undecorated oval plate , at the top is a rectangular loop with rectangular hole, below sits a slightly wider rectangular collar. At each side is a circular lug with small projecting pellet, both of these have a small circular hole. Post-Medieval silver dress fastener, 21mm long, 12mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 1.63g. The object is made from silver sheet, and consists of an oval plate which has four circular holes in a row along its outer edge. In the centre of the opposite edge is a projecting tab or shaft which is 12mm wide at its base but narrows down to 7mm at its terminal. The shaft has a total length of 25mm but has been folded twice. Post medieval copper alloy dress fastener, dating to 1600-1700AD. The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of an oval plate which has three integral, triangular projections housing circular fixing holes at cardinal points. At the fourth point the plate tapers into an integral rectangular shaped, folded plate which forms the hook. The surface is covered on one side in foliate engraving. Post medieval copper alloy dress hook, 39mm in length, 21mm wide and 2.0mm thick with a weight of 4.82grams. The object has an oval frame with small sub rectangular side projections. The upper end has a rectangular projection forming a hook with two circular fixing holes either side where it joins the central area. The lower end has a centrally placed circular fixing hole. It has oval decoration formed of a triple raised border and a central motif suggestive of crowned rose.

Post medieval copper alloy dress fastener, 34mm long, 18mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 4.71grams. The object is oval in form and is decorated with a series of incised lines creating a scallop shell effect. This is slightly cancave and hollow underneath. At the upper edge it has two tapering projections forming a V shape terminal and on each side under this is a circular fixing loop. Theres are traces of a third broken loop at the far end, this would have formed the 'eye' part of a two part dress fastener with a duplicate mount having a hooked end.

Early post medieval copper alloy 'hook and eye' dress fastener, 34mm long, 27mm wide and 1mm thick with a weight of 4.10grams. The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It has an incomplete rectangular projection at one end, which would have been curved at the end to form a hook. This sits above a slight collar with an incised line below it. An incomplete copper-alloy Post-Medieval hooked tag of Read's Class E Type 3 (Read, 2008, p.92, no. 325). It is badly worn and is missing most of its rectangular sewing lug at the top. The plate is circular in form with a hollow-domed boss which bears a forward facing bust possibly wearing a wreath or turban, arranged so the face points slightly towards the integral hook, which is circular in section and gradually tapers to the curved tip. The object measures 31mm in length, 12mm in width, 3mm in thickness, and 2g in weight. See also SF-DC02A3.

The object is incomplete, sub rectangular in form and section and slighly concave.It consists of a sub oval plain area which is silvered. At one end there is a central plume like motif which is flanked by protruding circular fixing loops (one is complete). Above the plume is a rectangular protrusion which starts to curve upwards to form a hook. The object is one half of a two part hook and eye clothes fastener.

Post Medieval copper alloy dress fastener, 37mm long, 20mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 4.32grams. The fastener is oval in form and rectangular in section. It has a trapezoidal loop at one end which would attach to a hook on a similar fastener. Either side of this is a small circular fixing loop, with a further one centrally placed at the far end. Post medieval silvered copper alloy clothes fastener, 27mm long, 22mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a silvered patina and weighs 3.35grams. The object is sub triangular in form and is decorated with incised foliate decoration surrounded by a border of circles. It has the clear remains of two pierced lobes at each side (there should be a third at the top) which would have secured it to clothing. The object is also missing either a rectangular slot or a hook at its base. The reverse is plain.
