It appears to be undecorated, but has traces of tinning. It has a projecting circular loop at three of its cardinal points. Post medieval copper alloy dress fastener, dating to 1600-1700AD. The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of an oval plate which has three integral, triangular projections housing circular fixing holes at cardinal points. At the fourth point the plate tapers into an integral rectangular shaped, folded plate which forms the hook. The surface is covered on one side in foliate engraving. Length: 39 mm,width; 27 mm, thickness: 9.0 mm, weight: 8.12 g.

It has an oval plate decorated with a double raised border and central foliate and scroll motif. Each side has a double scroll like projection and one end has a projecting fixing loop flanked by a small scroll. The other end has two fixing loops flanking a rectangular folded catch. The object is one of a pair forming a 'hook and eye' fastener and matches Read Class A, type 8, fig. 663-5 Length: 36 mm, width: 21 mm, weight: 6.09 g

Post medieval copper alloy dress fastener, 34mm long, 18mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 4.71grams. The object is oval in form and is decorated with a series of incised lines creating a scallop shell effect. This is slightly cancave and hollow underneath. At the upper edge it has two tapering projections forming a V shape terminal and on each side under this is a circular fixing loop. Theres are traces of a third broken loop at the far end, this would have formed the 'eye' part of a two part dress fastener with a duplicate mount having a hooked end.

The object is incomplete and consists of a trapezoidal fixing loop which sits above a lozenge shaped plate. This has a raised solid border sitting inside a 'beaded' edge. Inside the border the object is plain. Below this, at one corner, are the remains of a raised collar which would have sat above the projecting hook.

An incomplete copper-alloy Post-Medieval hooked tag of Read's Class E Type 3 (Read, 2008, p.92, no. 325). It is badly worn and is missing most of its rectangular sewing lug at the top. The plate is circular in form with a hollow-domed boss which bears a forward facing bust possibly wearing a wreath or turban, arranged so the face points slightly towards the integral hook, which is circular in section and gradually tapers to the curved tip. The object measures 31mm in length, 12mm in width, 3mm in thickness, and 2g in weight. See also SF-DC02A3.

The object consists of a sub- circular plate with three circular fixing holes arranged in a triangle near the upper part of the object. It has a small circular sectioned shaft with a hooked end, emerging from its lower edge. The surface of the object is decorated with a series of incised concentric circles, which centre on the lower of the three holes. The object is very similar to SF-A986B0 which is dated 800-1100.

The object is triangular in form with an inner twisted rope border. Inside this are three domed circles with twisted rope like border. Between two of the domes, just off centre is a spherical knop which has been carelessly attached. The whole surface has been gilded, but is very worn in places with patches of gold remaining only in recesses.
