A complete early post medieval cast copper alloy one-piece low relief moulded eye section of a hook and clasp arrangement, dating to AD c1550 - c1650. An incomplete copper alloy cast clasp dating to the early post-medieval period, probably 16th century. Read (2008) class A, type 2. The clasp is composed by a single plate broadly oval shape with a rectangular knop on the upper part and two circular knops booth sides of the plate. A therd circular knop should be attached to the lower part but is old broken and now missing. Silver belt mount or strap end that is roughly hexagonal in plan with a squared-off edge on one side and a bifid terminal at the opposite edge with a raised semi-circular crest beneath it. The sides of the mount are also expanded into curved knops to allow for two raised eliptical loops that have the look of eyes. The object consists of a trefoil shaped plate with faceted edges and old broken wire hook and transverse attachment loop.The front of the plate is decorated with three domed bosses. The plate is worn and there is no visible decoration remaining on either side of the plate. The hook which would have formerly extended from the lower portion of the plate has broken off and only a narrow rectangular protrustion remains. A Post Medieval copper alloy hooked clasp or eye fastener of 17th century date. The front face is convex with a moulded relief scallop shell design. There are three integral attachment loops; one at the top of the shell, the other two are placed at each side of bottom of the shell. There is a rectangular attachment loop at the bottom of the fastener.The fastener is Read class A type 6. See Read (2008) page 174 No 657 and 659 for similar examples. The fastener probably dates from AD 1600 to 1700.

An incomplete Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy decorated hooked tag of Read's Class A, Type 2 (with three attachment knops), hooked section. Two of the attachment loops are damaged, the rectangular loop at the top is missing. It measures 27.90mm in length, 27.1mm wide, 2.5mm thick and weighs 5.57 grams. It depicts a central expanding stem, and is comparable with Read, 2008; nos.639-44, with a spray of three flowers surrounded by ring-and-dot decoration flanking the outside edge.
