An early post-medieval (1500-1700) copper-alloy dress hook of Read Class A, Type 2 with three attachment knops (hooked section). The plate is flat and 2.1mm thick. It depicts a central expanding stem, and has a spray of three flowers surrounded by ring-and-dot decoration flanking the outside edge. In total, the hooked tag measures 43.1mm in length, 30.3mm wide and weighs 9.54g. Similar to HAMP-70E230. Cf. Read 639-44.

An incomplete cast, early post medieval copper alloy dress fastener, missing the hook itself, dating to c AD 1500 - 1600. It is a one piece, circular, convex hook, early medieval Class E, type 3 (similar to nos 321 - 326 Read, Hooked Clasps and Eyes: 2008). It has possibly a human or zoomorphic head in moulded relief on a circular plate, with probably a beaded border, and an angular, sub trapezoidal loop. It is 18.29mm in length, 13.77mm in width amd weighs 1.85g.

A post medieval cast copper alloy Class E single sharp-hooked clasp, Type 1, rectangular with moulded relief. It has a longitudinal rectangular raised panel, each side engrailed (three knops on each side) and has a double ridged ribbed collar at the junction of plate and rearward facing hook. An incomplete post-medieval single sharp-hooked clasp (Read Class E, type 3 ), dating to period c. AD 1550 - 1750. It is incomplete insofar as the hook is missing. It is decorated with a cross in foral pattern with a central pellet; at projecting ridged and ribbed collar at the juncture of the plate. The object measures 21.48mm in length and 15.67mm in max width. The thickness measures 1.71mm and the weighs is 1.53g.

A Post Medieval copper alloy hooked clasp or eye fastener of 17th century date. The front face is convex with a moulded relief scallop shell design. There are three integral attachment loops; one at the top of the shell, the other two are placed at each side of bottom of the shell. There is a rectangular attachment loop at the bottom of the fastener.The fastener is Read class A type 6. See Read (2008) page 174 No 657 and 659 for similar examples. The fastener probably dates from AD 1600 to 1700.
