Complete hooked tag set comprising both male and female links. The objects were found together in plough soil. Both tags have a heart-shaped openwork frame with a crescentric shoulder at either side. The male tag has a small hook at one end and a T-shaped hook at the other. The female tag has a rectangular loop at one end and a T-shaped hook at the other. The short sides of the rectangular loop are faceted. Both objects are copper alloy and are decorated with silvering.

A cast copper alloy clothes fastener/strap fitting. The object consists of an oval plate with a rectangular loop at one end. There is a circular loop on either edge of the rectangular loop and one at the opposite end to the loop. Six decorative knops also visible. The plate itself has a decoratively moulded design within a moulded curvilinear and floral decoration. The surface is mid reddish-brown in colour. The reverse is undecorated. This fitting probably dates to the 17th - 18th century.

A copper alloy clasp piece from a hook and eye fastener dating from the post medieval period. The plate is oval with an acorn shaped terminal knop. There are four broken sewing holes round the edge and a rectangular loop at the end. The front of the plate is decorated with white and light blue enamel and a central metal fleur dr lis or acorn. The fastener is similar to other hook and eye clasps from the Early post medieval period, but the use of blue and white enamel is unusual and probably suggests a late 16th or 17th century date. A cast copper alloy dress fastener of the post medieval period dating from1500-1650. It is one hafl of a hook and eye fastener; the catch half. The body is an ovoid shape, hollow on the underside. At one end it broadens out; this section has two circular holes for attachment to the dress and the remains of a rectangular fastening loop. At the opposite end there are the remains of a small sewing loop for attachment to the dress. Silver gilt dress fastener or eyelet. Cast openwork, in the form of a vegetal spray with apical loop and six drilled holes of diameter 2mm. A stamped maker's mark on reverse resembles a narrow (tanner's) hide in an oval field. The display face is partially gilded, with this treatment reserved for highlights of moulded detail, rather than being preserved in hollow contours as might be expected. Post-Medieval, 1700-1800. Length: 15.2mm, Width: 13mm, Thickness: 1.7mm, Weight: 1.12g.

A cast copper-alloy hooked tag dating to the post-medieval period. The mount has a flat sub-oval body with a small oval knop at the apex. Around the perimeter of the body are four side-loops. The body is decorated with a hollow-dome bearing a human facing-mask and foliage around it. An incomplete blunt-hook extends from the top. Post Medieval copper alloy toggle, The object consists of a solid pointed oval form with a circular section. This is attached to a circular sectioned shaft with a double looped terminal. It is 24mm long, 19mm wide and 8mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 7.76 grams. No similar exmples have been found in datable contexts yet.

A copper alloy hooked tag of Brian Read's Early post-medieval Class A, Type 8. The body is flat, oval and has a recatngular loop at one end with a small circular loop immediately to both sides. Halfway around the periemter on both sides is a small rounded side-knop. The terminal is formed by a small circular loop. The body is decorated with an oval panel bearing possible foliate and floriate motifs within a beaded border. The beaded border contains a reddish coloured paste or enamel within in. Compare with Read no. 663.

Post-Medieval Dress fastener The find is a shield-shaped dress fastener decorated with a flower like motif and stamp impressions. At one end of the object is a rectangular attachment loop which appears to show signs of wear. On the edges of the object are three ear shaped loops each with a small projecting terminal. The fastener has a length of 36.2mm, a width of 28.4mm and is 1.8mm thick. The mass is 5.51g. All surfaces of the object are silvered. Treasure Case 2009 T607 British Museum Report: Fragment of openwork silver, roughly hemispherical in shape, with filigree circlets and granular knops on one side, the inside flat. Weight: 2.43g, length: 24.4 mm. Probably part of a 16th Century dress fitting such as a button, head of a dress pin or bead, but possibly later. One half of a cast, copper-alloy toggle clasp. The main body of the clasp is heart-shaped and openwork, forming a voided heart in its centre. Halfway down the outer edges of the heart are opposing projections or knops. At the pointed base of the heart, the clasp widens to form a rectangular attachment slot with bifurcated ends. The opposite end of the clasp has a T-shaped toggle bar, curved around to form a hook that would engage with the other half of the clasp.

At one end is a knop which is pierced for attaching to the clothing, but broken across the sewing hole. Each side lug is pierced with circular perforations. The hook has broken away from the base of the object. The upper surface is decorated with a worn foliate design. This is enclosed by a double border of pellets. The rear of the dress hook is undecorated. The object has a dark green patina with reddish copper alloy showing through in places. An oval plate with three attachment loops (one lost) and a collared curved blunt hook at one end. The two remaining loops bear small knops. Incised decoration of the plate comprises a trilobate figure with circular or curvilinear additions against a diagonally hatched ground. White metal plating remains on both sides of the object.
