Copper alloy 'male' tag from a pair hooked tags. The tag has a sub-oval plate with a large rectangular hook at one end (now truncated). Either side of the plate are two pierced lugs for attachment with a two further at the rear that clank a scallop shaped projection. The centre of the plate is decorated with a human face flanked by crescent shaped drapery design. This artefact dates to the 16th century.

Lead dress hook with a trefoil shaped serrated sided plate that supports three hemispherical domes. Each dome is decorated with a central boss on the top with four further bosses arranged evenly around the edge. In the centre of the plate is a large pellet that has three radiating ridges that dived the domes. On the reverse is a reward projecting rectangular lead loop, and at the lower edge is an expanded ridge that forms a socket that holds a rearward projecting hook made from a copper alloy pin.

At either side of the rectangular loop are two pierced lugs with a third at the rear for attachment. The centre of the plate is decorated with a foliate design of a central flower surrounded by four small buds arranged in a cross saltire; to either side is a leaf with serrated edges; above and blow is a berry. This artefact dates to the 16th century.

Copper alloy 'female' tag from a pair hooked tags. The sub-oval plate of the tag is decorated with a moulded design consisting of a line of pellets running down the centre like a spine, these are flanked by three angled ovals, each of which is dished and filled with a white paste. The head of the spine expands to form a large rectangular loop. Just behind the rectangular loop on either side is a pierced lug with a third at the rear for attachment. This artefact dates to the 16th century.

An incomplete copper alloy dress hook (blunt hooked hook), of Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 - AD 1700). The hooked tag is ovoid (oval) in plan, with four complete circular attachment knops (or loops). A rounded and obliquely grooved ornamental knop on the end resembles a scallop shell. An incomplete blunt hook is present. The centre of the tag is decorated with an oval panel bearing a probable stylised fleur de lys (lis) borded by spirals but perhaps a winged insect. Copper alloy strap or dress fastener, this has an openwork roundel plate decorated by an oval panel in the centre, which maybe a human facemask, in each corner is a semicircle joining the central panel to the outer rim. The plate is flanked by a trapezoid loop on one side and a pierced oval knop with a scalloped outer edge on the opposing side. Date 17th century.

A medieval strap-fitting consisting of a roughly semi- circular terminal pierced with a central aperture. The two ends are slightly chamfered. In the centre is an area of grooved decoration, resembling a scallop shell. On the reverse are two studs that would have held the fitting in place The fitting is silver and dates from the fifteenth or early sixteenth century. For similar examples see SUSS-C924F4 (2009T189) and HESH-0E0167 (2010T494).
