A cast copper alloy belt or strap fitting, now in two pieces. Both pieces are flat and circular and have been decorated with a series of concentric circles.
The remains of an iron pin can be seen on the reverse of both plates. Presumably an iron pin would have held the two plates together.
Projecting away from one of the plates are two short and broken prongs.
The reverse is undecorated.
There is corrosion on both sides.
The surface of the object is pitted. It is a mid brownish-green colour.
The fitting is probably 15th – 17th century in date.
