Two lobes of an originally trilobate clothes fastener, missing the hook. On the reverse is a fitting for attachment which forms three sides of a rectangle. Each circle or lobe has four cast rings and pellets and there is a larger pellet originally placed between the three lobes. The decoration is similar to contemporary mounts and pins made of silver.
