An incomplete cast copper-alloy mount or pin head of Roman date (c.43-410).
The object is in the form of a three-dimensional small bird with moulded wings, tail and head. The bird sits with its wings at rest and head facing forward. The eyes of the bird are shallow circular drilled holes and it has a recessed gently curved beak. The wings and tails have incised lines to depict feathers. The bird has no feet, with its lower belly sitting on a broken rectangular shaft. The object has a dark brown patina with traces of a white metal coating.

The object is discoidal with a raised border that is c.2.9 mm thick, the plate is recessed with an off-centre rectangular knob.The reverse is undecorated and has the remains of a central square cross-sectioned shaft or rivet. Dark brown patina with patches of verdigris.

The object is convex on the decorated side and concave on the reverse. It is in the form of a stylised male bust with an oval head, widening at the shoulders and terminating with a rounded edge. A complete, cast copper-alloy military harness mount. The mount is square with a median rib. This rib is flanked on both sides by a convex panel. The sides of the mount form a narrow ledge. On the recessed reverse is an integral rivet with a disc head.
This mount belongs to Nicolay's (2007), Type B6, pl. 73, no. 142.1.
A parallel from the same parish is recorded as LIN-A9C66E. Suggested date: c.AD 120 - 300.

Roman copper-alloy mount with integral rivet. The head is conical and undecorated, measuring 16mm in diameter. On the reverse an integral rivet projects from the centre. Its circular-section shaft is 4.6mm in minimum diameter and ends in a large integrally cast disc 12mm in diameter. The object is 11mm in total height. It has a pale green surface and weighs 4.8g.

A Roman copper alloy mount, finial. or possible linch pin terminal. The object is circular in section, elongated, and consists of a reel at either end separated by a narrowed waist. A narrow reel with central groove sits either side of the waist. The head of the mount has a deeply recessed band creating a circular cell with concave centre. The opposite end is hollow and contains the remains of an iron shank of circular section.

The mount is in the form of an erect penis. One end is rounded, either side a globular knop projects representing the testicles, and is waisted. Above this section is a central rounded portion with a now corroded iron rivet or fitting passing through the object, perhaps the fitting for attachment. The object has a flat circular head with a diameter of 17.05 mm and thickness of 1.23 mm. The head has a raised edge which surrounds a border with some green enamel surviving and including a circular section with red enamel. There is a central depression. On the underside of the head plate is a short circular-sectioned shank with a flattened circular terminal with a lip to one side.

The mount is rectangular in form and cross-section with a hollow underside. It is plain except for a double linear depression running across its surface, which forms a slightly rounded surface on either side. There is a circular sectioned shaft emerging from the centre of its underside. The object is similar to LEIC-D77FF3 and LEIC-6D1092.
The object measures 19.76 mm in length, 16.96 mm wide and 3.85 mm thick (without shaft) with a weight of 4.43g
