The weight is a sub-conical shape in plan, which has a pointed oval shaped cross-section. At the tip of the weight there is a sub-circular integral loop. The base has an irregular shaped indentation.

The weight is sub-circular in plan. The upper face has a high-relief border around the edge. Off centre a 'X' has been incised. Above the cross there is a stamped emblem, which appears to be possibly a crown with 'V[ ]' below. The reverse of the weight has a slightly undulating surface with an irregular indentation off-centre.

The lower portion of the weight is an inverted conical shape, however the conical is halved and the lower half is the shape of the lower half of the weight. The upper portion of the weight is an elongated dome shape. The base of the weight has a central circular indentation. At the apex of the dome a sub-circular section iron protrusion is visible. The protrusion is only just above the surface of the dome. There are recently damaged scrapes on the surface of the weight. Note the weight is approximate.
